Why we do this

Our research allows greater understanding of threatened species such as the Oriental Pied Hornbill

The quick answer is: We love animals.

The serious answer is: Ecology Matters is passionate about wildlife and increasing our understanding of Singapore’s biodiversity, while improving the process of environmental impact assessment in Singapore. We are confident we will see a society where nature and wildlife are protected alongside human development. We conduct studies with professionalism, integrity, thorough science and a big smile.

Ecology Matters is part of the local organising committee for ConservationAsia 2016, an important conservation biology conference being held in Singapore for the first time. It is a joint conference between the Society of Conservation Biology Asia Section and the Association of Tropical Biology and Conservation Asia-Pacific Chapter from 29th June to 2nd July 2016 (http://www.conservationasia2016.org).
By engaging Ecology Matters, you are indirectly supporting worthwhile causes in Singapore and the region, so thank you.
